Formula Pro
Racing program for 2011 is ready to get reved up. We worked
hard to bring you a great program for 2011. LOOKING FORWARD TO
SEEING YOU AT THE TRACK!
For 2011 the Formula Pro Racing Series
is now associated with the South Jersey Region of the SCCA (Region 84). This means
all our races will be SCCA Regional or National Events.
The South Jersey Region and NJMP
(Millville NJ) is our new home track but the series will also take us
to Summit Point and Watkins Glen. Teaming up with SCCA Southern
Region allows us to participate in events with larger fields and
deeper competition. It also allows our series to run top
tracks like Summit Point (WVA) Watkins Glen (NY) and New Jersey Motor
Sports Park (NJ).
This "International" style race series
combines the best race dates and tracks into a single series that is
racer friendly . We have big name sponsors like Mechanix Wear, Primus,
KFP Brakes, Averill Racing Stuff, John Berget Tires, Indocil Art,
Frisby Tires and others that provide great product awards to drivers at
every event. Additional sponsors may be added over the course of the
season.
At every event members will be rewarded
with certificates to redeem products or discounts from our sponsors.
No other regional racing series has these benefits. When was the
last time you participated in an event and went home with more then a
trophy? These awards are distributed throughout the field and
not limited to only top finishers.
Your SCCA license is all you need. You can
try a race with no membership cost and if you like our series your
race will be counted towards the championship points when you join.
No matter what race organization you
belong to the FPR series is open to all. If you drive a formula car we
have a place for you to race.
